Wow this is really going to make his head get really big, I just hope he can continue to get through doors, I actually have known Cogerson/Bruce for many years and I can tell you that he is a pretty down to earth guy that is always there when you need a friend or some help. Thanks for such a nice tribute to him that was fun to read. He goes to the library? I did not knew he even knew how to read. LMAO.

Our No.1 source of Movie Info, a FAR-better "Mr. Mom," than Michael Keaton..a stellar son, husband, hubber and friend...A successful grocer, a guy with heart plus a sense of humor...roll into a ball, add a ray of Sunshine & a kiss from Debbie and there you have it...the inspiration for "Bruce Almighty!!"

You seem to have Cogerson pegged pretty well, I have been impressed with his hubs ever since he started these hub movies. I remember when he used to beg me to read his hubs and now his audience seems to have grown so much. You have done a good deed here Sunshine 625.

Susnshine - you have done it again! I do love Cogerson - his hubs are fun, interesting and I use them to help decide which movies I will see in my spare time since there is so little of it!
I didn't know he had 6 kids! I know he has a really smart wife! My husband used to be a stay at home dad while I worked....we both enjoyed it! It was a flip flopped house hold but it takes a very special man to have the patience to raise children. I also really dig a guy who will mop my floor too! Now THAT is not only a man - but a great man!

Hey Jeannieinabottle....I always wanted a rotating tree....and last year my wish came true....and this year we got my mom her own rotating tree....they are awesome especially for little kids...which luckily I have two little ones that love the tree as well.

Hey RealHouseWife...hope your birthday was a blast....and now you are only days away from more presents. Yep we have 6 kids but they are spread out....the oldest is a 23 year Air Force sargeant stationed in Alaska....the second oldest is 19 and a sophomore at college and has already moved out....the middle kids are 17 and 16....and making their college plans already....which brings us to kids 5 and 6...they are 5 and 2....so yes we have 6 kids but rarely are those 6 kids ever in the same house.
As for my stay at dad role....we just passed our 4th anniversary of the that big decision....and it has been the best decision of our lives....my very smart wife and my kids make my live simply awesome as well as having a fellow hubbers like Sunshine625 who does these wonderful tributes.

So when my father "POPS" rang this morning, I thought we might be discussing football, fantasy or my 49ers, but to my suprise it was one of those special days when he has a new hub for me to check out and Sunshine625 I am blown away. Thank you for the kind words you have said and I couldnt agree more. Cogerson is pretty awesome and believe me I am the person who would know, there are only a few people who have known him longer than myself and none of them live in the same house. Everything I know about movies, sports, and recently tax information, comes from the great mind of Cogerson. Without him who knows where I would be at this moment. Literally, I would not exist without him. So heres to you Cogerson, thanks for being great all around and planting my seed of life. Love you lots.

Sounds like your hubbers like the revolving Christmas tree, yes, Cogersons, gave me, his mother, a revolving Christmas tree for Christmas (early gift) Bruce, Debbie, Samantha and Emily decorated it for me and it has a lovely red skirt with sequins on it and it was great for putting the tinsel on - just wait as it goes round and put the tinsel on. Cogerson - my oldest is 23 and youngest are 10 & 12.....life gets crazy with those age gaps too! The oldest is in her 2nd year of college (she works full time too) and just moved out which I am finding very weird:) lol.
Yes I love life that way too....now we both work from home and swap chores and duties. Like I hate going grocery shopping - he does that and I make good file folders:) haha!
It's a really fun way to live I think and I can see why you guys have such a happy family!

Hey RealHousewife....wow I did not know you had a 23 year old as well....I am sure you get the same thing I get...."There is no way you have a 23 year old"....I love when I get that comment...and when you are holding a your two year old in arms the look is even better. Yep the feeling is weird when the first one leaves...but as we prepare for the third one to leave...we are like we could do this with her room or that with her room.
Hey Nell Rose...the only problem with a rotating tree is you have to have an artificial tree....real trees will not work....so my awesome who loves real trees agreed to have two trees....but my little ones spend more time checking my rotating tree than her real tree.

Hello - I am Cogersons mom - he is all of the above for sure. His dad and I had a son, Bobby, when I was expecting Bruce and I wanted a daughter but got a son, Bruce, and I have never regretted it - he and Debbie have been wonderful to me since we lost his dad in June - always checks on me and he is a great guy. He has given me two young granddaughters, Samantha and Emily, and of course Bryan, Scotty, Katie and Alex. Plus my great-granddaughter, Natalie who is 4 - his is a young grandfather and a great one to boot. THANKS FOR THE HUB.
