A Letter To Santa Claus - Happy Holidays

Dear Santa Baby, I understand this happy holiday is your busiest time of the year and I won't take up too much of your time. I'll make this letter short and sweet. At least I'll try to, I do have a tendency to ramble. This girl was wondering is there an age limit for letters to Santa? I hope not because I'm kind of older than a child, but I'm still a kid at heart. Does that count? I've also been nice. Most of the time.
Everyone is anticipating when Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. All the kids have been on their best behavior, hopefully. They know you are making a list and checking it twice. It's a shame that parents could only use Santa as a threat just a few weeks a year. How about making this a year-long event?
On your Sleigh Ride around the world you will notice many areas where fun, festive celebrants have accomplished their task to Deck The Halls with boughs of holly! You will most likely be singing fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la as you view the decorations. Your jovial journey will be glowing with lights to help guide your path.
Most likely Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer will be leading the pack with his very shiny nose. He took a lot of slack and bullying due to his unique facial feature, but he held tough. Rudolph showed the bullies that even though he might be different he can still be a success. Anyway, Santa while you are guiding your reindeer I ask you one favor...please be careful we don't want another Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer accident! Grandma's are super special and we need to have their back, not hit their backside!
If by chance while traveling the friendly skies you might happen to notice Mommy Kissing Santa Claus...don't panic! He's not an imposter or trying to steal your thunder! He's most likely daddy dressed as jolly St. Nick. He understands you are overworked and underpaid and he's just lending a helping hand. Hopefully, that's what is going on, or Mommy is in trouble! Uh oh!
Do You Hear What I Hear?! It's the millions of people around the world hustling and bustling getting ready for your arrival! We are preparing our chimney's by removing the soot so you don't get your red suit dirty. We are planning on which cookies to prepare for you this year. Low-calorie and no high fructose corn syrup is a must! Trust me while you are Up On The Housetop you will appreciate our thoughtfulness! We are also reminding the children that they better be good! We are wrapping gifts with pretty bows and adding your name to it. You have an amazing amount of helpers, including your adorable elves and most importantly Mrs. Santa.
I would like to thank you for your hard work and dedication in honor of your billions of fans. You are one of a kind...even though many people try to mimic you. No one can pull off a Ho! Ho! Ho! except the real Santa. I want to wish you good luck this Christmas Eve as you begin your trek in Australia and finish it off in America. During this Silent Night there will be much Joy To The World. Many people will be listening for your Silver Bells. They will be wondering what surprises will greet them in the morning. So much cheer for all children worldwide. We gotta love it!
It's now time for you and Mrs. Santa to celebrate another successful holiday where you made many children (of all ages) very merry. I suggest the two of you now take some time to enjoy the holidays. When you arrive safely back in the North Pole how about you two go Rocking Around The Christmas Tree? Eat, drink and be merry! Rest up for next year! By the way, I'll pass on a gift request...you obviously know why, since you know if I've been bad or good. Uh oh! Thanks for your taking the time to read my letter Santa, aren't you glad I didn't ramble!
P.S. Wishing all of Santa's "helpers" happy holidays! In all the rush of the season don't forget about you. Do something nice for you. Without you someone's Christmas might have less cheer. Ha ha - this is too cute. Saint Nick comes tonight - well not for everybody - I guess it is mostly a German thing and since I am from Wisconsin we always did it. Perhaps you could settle a debate my friends and I are having. My think Rudolph should be banned from t.v. because it is a primative example of "bullying." I think the fact that Rudolph proves his value, makes all the other reindeer "eat his dust" as he leads the sleigh and gets the cutest girl in the end, proves that just because you are bullied you shouldn't quit. What are your thoughts?
I agree with you Tammy 100%! Yes he was bullied but he proved the bullies were wrong by being the head honcho and guiding the reindeer for Santa PLUS he got the girl. Sort of reminds me of a Sandra Bullock movie, she always gets the guy and always find her way out of the corner! Wow I bet Sandra never would have thought I would compare her to Rudolph! LOL Great question!

I need more Christmas advice from you since you adeptly assisted me with me with my other Christmas deliema. I have a certainly family member who is.. well, a little smelly. Is there a "nice" way to let them know this? Is it inappropriate for me to buy them a bottle of Lysol and a hard brisled scrub brush for Christmas? Thank you for your Christmas expertise in advance.

Hmmmm Tammy, I'm going to say no to that BUT word from the North Pole is that even Santa likes the body washes and body mist sprays. We do have a footcare line that might help with odors from the between the toes. Might I add again another ewwwww.
Sunshine, This year I am asking Santa that my relatives don't over stay their welcome this year, they don't leave wet towels on the floor, and they don't stink up the bathroom. Do you think that is wrong? Will he still bring me a present?
Absolutely you will still get a gift! I think Santa would agree with you on relatives who overstay their welcome and for them to pick up after themselves. BTW, he said they just might get coal in their stockings due to their their rude manners.
Awesome.. I feel better now. Just one more question. I suffer from depression over the holidays due to all the memories that keep flooding me. I have been to therapy and they just couldn't help me. You see, I saw Daddy kissing Santa.. I don't know how to erase these images from my mind. Any suggestions?
If daddy ain't happy then ain't nobody happy so if daddy's happy just be happy for him. Heck it could have been worse...it could have been a reindeer! Oh and spike the egg nog as often as needed!

I wrote to Santa last year and he actually responded to me. I was thrilled. I asked him why he and Ms. Clause didn't have any children. He wrote back and said it is because he only comes once a year.. and that is down a chimney. I am still trying to figure that one out, but at least he wrote back. I am taking notes from your hub so I can write a better letter this year.

One more question... my kids built a fabulous Snow Man in the front yard.. they added the nose, a top hat, a scarf, little rock buttons, and sweet little flannel pajamas. But they said that this Snow Man could talk. I raced out side because I figured like most kids they were pulling my leg. Sure enough, as soon as I got into the yard, the Snow Man was taking off the flannel pajamas. I asked him if he was hot but he said no. He said he was trying to drop his pants because the snow blower was coming. Do you think this is an enchanted snow man?

I saw on Facebook that you wanted another comment on this hub in particular :-) I figured I have a few spare moments so I jumped on over and read right aways! This was great :-) I knew you were a good writer because I have read some of your past stuff, but this was fun, creative, and entertaining... even after Christmas is over! I caught myself humming to each of the tunes while reading and thought how much fun the holidays really are. I bought myself a book for Christmas! Great hub and I hope you had a happy holidays :-)
I am sad to report that Santa wasn't very good to me this year. I must have been really bad.. what am I going to do with a turd anyway...???? I mean.. seriously.
