I Get High With A Little Help From My Friends...

Hello, my name is Sunshine and I'd like to share with you how I get high with a little help from my friends. One of my missions in life is to spread the sunshine and not the gloom. There are enough people to tend to that task. When I make a friend laugh, in return I laugh, and together we make each other's day. Frequently I am asked, "what drug are you on?", "what are you smoking?" or I hear "are you on medication?"

In actuality my friends are my dealers and there is never a cover charge. I have no fear of any drug cartel coming after me for back payment. I have no outstanding tabs because whatever they're selling I don't need. I get my stash for free. I refer to this mentality as a natural high. I'm a junkie who seeks out addicts to take a shot at with the best intentions of course!

Humor is one of my drugs of choice. Whether it's witty sarcasm or a thoughtful comment with a twist of comical entertainment it's all good. When I get the craving for a fix I just call upon one of my buddies. They are always ready, willing and able to supply my next hit. They put me in a state of euphoria with whatever their drug of choice is for the day. They never cease to disappoint me.

Laughter among friends is similar to an instant vacation. Indulge in the fun and allow it to erase your worries, if even for a moment.

It's a simple process and the best part is, it's legal! There is no need for a bail bondsman and certainly no need for jail time. There will be no meals served on metal trays and consumed with plastic utensils. We will never hear the clanging of doors or the yelling of "lights out." We come and go as we please as legitimate drug dealers with our heads held high. I emphasize high because that's what it's all about.

There will be no munchies and unnecessary weight gain. You will never suffer through severe withdrawals due to modern technology allowing us to have so many means of communication. There is no need to wait for a delayed shipment. No money will ever exchange hands. There is no need to fear losing your job, you might actually appreciate your job more when you begin to interact among your co-workers by supplying them with a fix.

Your relationships will be enhanced when you practice ways to make your significant other laugh out loud! Your family life will thrive while recalling memories of who made who laugh more and who was funnier. In addition there will be no need for a stint at a rehab facility, as long as you have friends who crack you up!

I consider this a win-win situation. You request a laugh, it's supplied and than you return the favor. It's a natural high that has infinite possibilities! We've all had the moment when we are feeling a bit down and then it happens....you receive that phone call, text message, IM, email or snail mail letter that brings that wonderful smile to your face.

You wonder, how did they know I needed that at this specific moment? It just happens naturally and then you pay it forward which makes this process never-ending. Now doesn't everyone want to get high with a little help from a friend?
