Sunshine's Pet Peeves

We all have pet peeves. Probably more then we think we do, we just don't recognize them as pet peeves. Some are annoying but most are tolerable. Some we can do something about and most we can't.
We can avoid them, ignore them and maybe even start to appreciate some. No matter how much you think you might detest them you probably don't. Here's my list of peeves....we could possibly share one or two or all of them.
Allergies whether caused by the environment or food are annoying! Need I say more?
Bills, why can't we skip a month every now and then? I think it should be a law!
Calories! Why must everything that taste yummy have so many calories?!?!?
Dust-bunnies, no matter how much we dust, they reappear. So I stopped dusting.
Egos might exist on your planet but not on mine. Keep your self-love to yourself.
Fragrances by celebrities! It's out of control with how many celebrities have their own scent. One word...wannabe.
Gnats...why is it we can swat a fly with ease but a gnat can always get away.
Haters are so negative! Show the love it's healthier and reduces stress.
Incompetence. If you can't do the job right then step aside and admit defeat.
Junk food leads to obesity which in turn causes havoc on your health. Tone your body up not out.
Kisses made by Hershey's ... it takes longer to unwrap one then to eat one!
Laziness...Lazy days are allowed to a point! Being active is the way to go!
Medical doctors can be so clueless at times! Don't think because you graduated that educating yourself is over. New studies and findings are discovered everyday. Don't wait for your patients to tell you what they are....do your research!
Never-ending drama can be left at the door. Life's to short to be miserable. We all have baggage and our loads to carry. It is what it is. No sense harping on it.
Orange tans...some people just don't know when enough is enough with worshipping the sun or the beds! Trust me, we know, we just don't mention it.
Pedophiles. Wish there was a magic wand that would make them all vanish.
Questions, I have so many that I annoy myself at times! Why, what, where, when, how...enough already Sunshine!!!
Robust people. Seriously, is anyone REALLY that happy? Even Sunshine has off days!
Status updates on Facebook and Twitter. Unless it's the real deal don't post it. We don't want our feed cluttered with false information regarding the life you wish you had.
Typos, we all make them. They are inevitable. Repetitive typos are a no-go. We are supposed to learn from our mistakes not continually make them.
Underwear commercials. Come on do we REALLY need to go there? Some things are just better left "private."
Vices. I wish I had less BUT I'm an addictive person. I'd rather have the addictions I have then the ones I don't have.
Wanting more and doing nothing to achieve those goals. If you want it do something about it.
Xrays emit too much radiation when used in excess. Be your own health advocate and know the warnings.
Yelling, you can certainly get your point across without raising your voice.
Zumba dancing, I'll never be a pro or even a novice because I'm too uncoordinated. Oh well...I always have musical chairs to keep me in shape. I'm used to being dizzy.

Very nicely done....my pet peeve.....the new telemarketing using a computer to do the talking...but it is so much easier to hang up on a computer than a human. AS for your pet peeves...funny funny stuff. Voted up funny and awesome.
Good one cogerson!!! Im always hanging up on computers and I hang up on humans also...I just pretend we have a bad connection or whatever else pops into my creative head at the time...I had a fire once, not really but they thought I did! haha! So much fun! :)

Funny read! I needed this today!! I have a ton of pet peeve's, but my 2 main one are drama queens ( I agree with Naomi's Banner) esp when it's with adults! And people who they they will do something and don't! UGH!
Awesome and funny honey ! My pet peeve is talking to someone who does not understand but nods their head and says yes. Then goes and does something different from what I said. Voted up, funny, useful and awesome.

when someone is sitting across fro me and I can see and hear everything they are eating . It makes me NUTS!!!

I have a few peeves myself....People that LOVE themselves, look down at you because you may not work in a professional setting, or because your income is much less than theirs. All I have to say to them is...um, BITE ME SUCKA!! My life is great just the way it is, simple and not too many worries. Live it day by day, not by status crap. I don't get peeved too regularly,but when I evacuated a hurricane and it missed my area a flew right over where I evacuated to,left an ironic peeve in my mouth.;)

Very funny, I thought I was the only one who was peeved about orange tans. Some women walk around like they have just fallen into a vat of Fanta. Great hub, voted up and funny.

I agree with some of the pet peeves! Allergies, gnats, yelling, incompetence! I have been sneezing all afternoon because of the dust in my classroom's closets. Yuck! I liked your hub!! Very fun :) I liked how it was a ABC list! It only took me until the "W" to figure it out :-p
Okay, well thanks to Jaye & Mich S - I feel really dumb! (cuz I didn't figure it out :) Oh well!
Fun read Sunshine! Here's some I can think of for me:
-people who walk their dogs without a bag
-when you tell someone you really need to go and you cannot get them off the phone
-eating out of a bag of chips or whatever instead of putting some in a bowl
-when a woman wears pants so tight you can see every bit of cellulite and more
-noisy eaters
-drivers that don't turn right on red
-when you buy a can of WHOLE cashews and they are all broken
-people that mow their lawn at dusk, ha, just kidding

I'm late with my comment......BUT, I think we MUST be related!! My Pet Peeves? I could be a drama queen and list them all, but, I'll spare you.
#1 is RUDE, table, driving, talking way too much, lack of "please" "thank you" "excuse me". If you have manners, that alone will get you places! DO NOT be pissy and expect nice!
#2 TELEMARKETERS!! You say "NO" hang up....the next shift tries AGAIN! What the hell?!!
#3 LIARS all sizes, any reason, ever.
#4 people (like me!) that write long comments that make NO SENSE!!!!
I'm done NOW!
My pet peeves are many. Lately I have wondered why they don't put left and right turn lights on most vehicles. It would be nice to know that the driver in front of you is slowing down for a reason.
It took me all the way to the end to realize you were using the alphabet--nice job, Sunshine! :-) One I would add: wet socks. Worst. Feeling. Ever. Voted up!

Hi sunshine...if it's not broke, don't fix it (comcast made email a pain to get, facebook can't stop changing things), people who are always the victim...never at fault. UGH!,fuzz balls(are they called pills? or something similar) on sweaters, people who try to fix your problem when all you want them to do is listen. Thanks for letting me get that off my chest and thanks for a great hub. Can't wait for part two:)

Very funny. It would be quite therapeutic for everyone to take a little time to think about their pet peeves and maybe write them out. Then they would have a chance to laugh at themselves. And we know that laughter is the best medicine.
Very funny, yet so many of these peeves peeve us all!
One my my pet peeves is product downsizing. Packages of food that get smaller and smaller while prices stay the same. Half gallon of ice cream is now 1.5 gallon, a pound of coffee is 12 oz. -- you know what I mean!
Had to come back....just to VENT~ kinda. I came back to ADD my new peeves!!
1. Dustbunnies? I have dust COWS! Their just HUGE!
2. NOT learning what I can or can NOT change!
3. People withOUT a sense of humor.. Man!! What happened to make them CLUELESS!!

I want to add my pet peeve...hand prints on the refrigerator...they are always Dave's! lol Stainless steel sucks to keep clean!
I could never own stainless! The handprints would make me more insane then I already am! Haha!
I love your list Sunshine and I agree with Celebrity Fragrances wholeheartedly. Who wants to smell like Paris Hilton?! But I'd also add people with too much perfume/cologne on that irritates me. I have allergies (of many sorts) and it drives me crazy when people do that! Okay enough with my peeves, yours are awesome!
Why is it that toothpaste falls off the brush so easily, but becomes an impossible to remove goo when it hits the sink?

Victoria, you could add as many peeves as you choose. I agree with yours. Orlando is famous for bad drivers. Myself included but luckily no bodily or auto damage in a long time!

My biggest pet peeve I think is big girl drama. Pull up your big girl panties and get over it ( my favorite saying ). Anyway cute hub and thanks for letting us know we are all human!!
